  • NVQ and apprenticeship programmes in hairdressing and barbering across England.

Common questions

We work with employers who show a strong commitment to strengthening their business through apprenticeship education. We work with individual salons, salon groups and independent academies.
Our programme was developed for salon owners, by salon owners. We deliver a comprehensive training system that produces high-quality hair designers in the shortest possible time, with 'Stretch and Challenge' units that build thorough, structured practical training.
We operate in every region of England and across Scotland, with a team of around twenty Regional Training Advisors based locally to the academies and salons they support.
Employers are only required to co-invest (5% of the cost) if the apprentice is aged 22 or over; otherwise the training is funded by the UK government. Apprentices must never be asked to contribute financially.
